T-shirt Pillow

In honor of Earth Day, which is April 22, think about ways to recycle your clothes as well as your soda cans and newspapers. Try this cool t-shirt craft to recycle and repurpose your old shirts! Have a parent help you!

Materials

• Old t-shirt
• Pillow stuffing
• Needle and thread or craft glue

Instructions

1. Lay the shirt out flat on a table.
2. Glue or stitch the bottom of the shirt and the arm holes closed. Leave the neck area open for filling.
3. Gently fill the shirt until it is nice and plump looking.
4. Glue or sew the neck hole closed with small stitches.
5. For a fun effect, add some badges or pins to the t-shirt pillow.
