Columbia Gym youth indoor soccer program

Are you ready for some "fútbol" this winter? Think soccer (not American football). Columbia Gym is now offering an eight-week, full court, indoor soccer program for youth ages 6-13. The program runs from January 21 through March 11 and includes a playoff tournament.
There will be separate boys and girls divisions with a maximum 12 players per team. Individual players and teams are welcome to join. All players receive participation medals and T-shirts. Each team will play at least one game per weekend and will have rotating schedules. Saturday games are between 12-8 p.m. and Sunday games are between 1-7 p.m. in the Columbia Gym's Main Arena.
Official referees and scorekeepers are provided; and weekly standings and schedules will be posted. Playoffs will take place on Saturdays and Sundays. Awards will be given to the tournament champion and runner-up.
"Columbia is a major center for youth soccer in the nation, and Columbia Gym is pleased to offer an opportunity for players of all skill levels to play and improve skills indoors during the winter months in a safe, fun and competitive environment," said Steve Mendelsohn, general manager of Columbia Gym.
Registration deadline is January 16. Cost is $110 for members and $135 for non-members. Register before January 7 to take advantage of the early bird discount!
