Tell CA! What would you be willing to do to protect and restore the waters of Columbia?

Columbia Association is developing a Watershed Management Plan designed to protect and restore the waters of Columbia. What you may not know is that common, everyday practices by residents are one of the many contributors to the deterioration of our watershed. Consider the following things that residents can do to help protect Columbia's streams and lakes.

  • Recycle
  • Use less fertilizer on lawns and gardens
  • Plant trees and native shrubs
  • Pick up pet waste
  • Keep oil and materials like paint out of storm drains
  • Keep leaves and trash out of storm drains
  • Wash your car on grass or gravel
  • Install a rain garden
  • Install a rain barrel

Are you willing to do any of these things more often? Please click here to let us know which things on this list you are willing to do.
