For a tail-waggin' good time, come to CA's fourth annual Dog Day Afternoon
The Columbia Association (CA) will host its fourth annual Dog Day Afternoon on Saturday, April 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hopewell Park in Columbia. CA invites Columbia canines and their people to an afternoon of contests, treats, activities and lots of tail-wagging fun. Dog-lovers can enter their four-legged friends into the Tail-Wagging Contest; Most Fashionable & Best Costume Show; Bone-Eating Contest; Best Kisser and more. New this year, we’ll be hosting Columbia’s Cutest Canine Contest-where your dog could have the chance to win great prizes and be featured on CA’s website. Additional entertainment includes raffles, music, face painting, caricature artists, and an arts & crafts station sponsored by Columbia Art Center. This free event will feature local businesses and organizations that focus on the health, happiness and well-being of our beloved, furry friends.
