For a tail-waggin' good time, come to CA's fourth annual Dog Day Afternoon

Dog DayThe Columbia Association (CA) will host its fourth annual Dog Day Afternoon on Saturday, April 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hopewell Park in Columbia. CA invites Columbia canines and their people to an afternoon of contests, treats, activities and lots of tail-wagging fun. Dog-lovers can enter their four-legged friends into the Tail-Wagging Contest; Most Fashionable & Best Costume Show; Bone-Eating Contest; Best Kisser and more. New this year, we’ll be hosting Columbia’s Cutest Canine Contest-where your dog could have the chance to win great prizes and be featured on CA’s website. Additional entertainment includes raffles, music, face painting, caricature artists, and an arts & crafts station sponsored by Columbia Art Center. This free event will feature local businesses and organizations that focus on the health, happiness and well-being of our beloved, furry friends.
