Marvelous Movies Film Series presents “Dr. Strangelove": Friday, February 5, at 7:30pm at Slayton House Theatre. Slayton House Theatre in Wilde Lake continue its’ Marvelous Movies season with “Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.” This dark comedy will have you laughing at the Cold War. Although legendary director Stanley Kubrick is usually thought of in ponderous terms, he revels in being silly here. With Peter Sellers, George C. Scott, Sterling Hayden, Keenan Wynn, Slim Pickens and James Earl Jones. All films are shown beautifully restored to DVD. Film critic Mike Giuliano will introduce the film and lead a short discussion after. Dessert and coffee are provided. The cost is $7.00/person; $6/seniors and students. Tickets to the following month’s show will be raffled off. Senior events shuttle available for those who need transportation. Open House - Slayton House Camp of the Arts & Conservatory: Sunday, February 7, from 1-3pm at Slayton House.
