Twig tree canvas art

Try this "green" art project and create a beautiful work of art from objects found right in your backyard.

Materials

• Twigs
• Leaves
• Construction paper
• Craft glue
• Canvas
• Glue gun (ask for a parent or guardian to help with this)

Instructions

1. Find twigs in the shape of trees.
2. Pick leaves off of trees or twigs. You can also cut leaves and flowers out of colored construction paper.
3. Use the craft glue to attach leaves and flowers to the twig tree.
4. Have your parent/guardian help you attach the twig tree to the canvas using the glue gun.
5. Try to make a whole forest of twig trees with different shapes and colors.
