Puffy paint t-shirts

Nothing’s more fun than creating wearable art! Let your kids go crazy and decorate their own t-shirts. You can make the activity more fun by having them decorate a shirt with a theme, like recycling or world peace. You can also try decorating onesies for babies, hats, shoes and any other article of clothing!

Materials

  • Plain white t-shirts
  • Cardboard (big enough to fit inside each t-shirt)
  • Newspaper or disposable tablecloth
  • Puffy paint in a variety of colors (can be found at any craft store)

Instructions

  • Lay down newspaper or a disposable tablecloth on your table.
  • Cut pieces of cardboard and place them inside each t-shirt.
  • Squeeze the puffy paint bottle gently so that the paint comes out evenly. Hold the bottles slightly above the shirt so that the paint doesn’t bleed through too much.
  • Allow the shirts to dry for at least an hour or two.
  • Flip the shirts over and decorate the other side.
